Sometimes referred to as a paramachina, a puppet, or something else entirely, Guillo is the steadfast and lifelong companion to Sagi who never seems to be far away from the boy. As such, it is ruthlessly loyal and protective of him, and is willing to do just about anything to stand by his side.
 
Guillo is extremely protective of Sagi ever since the boy dug up the puppet in Nusakan Thornwoods years ago, often warning him of danger and verbally snapping at anyone who seems to not have his best interests at heart.

Guillo accompanies Sagi as his paramachina when Sagi is employed by the Dark Service. When Sagi is awoken in the middle of the night for an urgent mission, all service members are authorized use of their paramachina and Sagi goes to retrieve his from the locker room. Sagi releases Guillo from one of the machina pods and they discuss the need for Guillo to remain silent around others to avoid drawing attention, as paramachina can’t talk normally.  
Prior to the beginning of the game, Sagi decides to leave home to try and make some money to support his mother. Guillo accompanies him, despite reservations about the plan, and registers as his [[paramachina]] partner in both the imperial army and later the Dark Service.
 
When Sagi is awoken in the middle of the night for an urgent mission, all service members are authorized use of their paramachina. Sagi releases Guillo from one of the machina pods and reminds Guillo to remain silent around others to keep up the guise of a paramachina.
 
Sagi is assigned to lead a group of soldiers to assassinate [[Olgan|Emperor Olgan]], but when they find the Emperor already dead at the hands of a stranger, Sagi and his squad are turned on by his commander. They’ve been framed! Guillo leaps in front of Sagi, absorbing the gunfire from the opposing squad of servicemen and the pair flee the room with soldiers in hot pursuit. In the halls leading away from the main building, a hideous monster bursts through the wall and slaughters their two fellow squad members and attacks them. Stuck between the seemingly invulnerable monster and the pursuing empire soldiers, Guillo begins to glow with an intense energy and attacks the monster with precise blows, finally delivering a killing strike through the skull. Sagi keels over in pain and passes out.
 
====On the Run====
A moment later, Sagi wakes up and Guillo fills him in on what happened while he was out. The monster is dead, thanks to Guillo, who temporarily lost control of its body as instructions on how to kill it filled its head. However there’s little time to dwell on the strange occurrences and the two continue their escape from the Emperor’s mansion. A man beckons them into a secret passage that leads through the sewers to the streets of [[Mintaka]]. Guillo is distrustful of the stranger, but with few options at hand, they accept his lead and escape through the sewers.
 
Guillo expresses distaste for the rankness of the sewers as they surface in Mintaka, where the city is on high alert looking for the two of them. Sagi concludes that they should find a liner to [[Hassaleh]] to hide out for a bit since he never told the Dark Service where he’s from. Guillo protests but follows Sagi.
 
On their way to the port, the pair is attacked by a large group of imperial soldiers led by Giacomo. A mysterious girl leaps to their rescue and handily fends off the soldiers, introducing herself as [[Milliarde]]. Guillo is immediately suspicious of her ‘evil vibrations’, but she joins them on the liner regardless, eager to see [[Sheratan]].

The trio enter [[Nusakan Thornwood]] and Guillo complains about feeling sick whenever being in the area. Milly is surprised at this statement, and Sagi explains that when he was a little kid he found Guillo buried in the Thornwoods. Neither of them knows how it came to be there as Guillo doesn’t have any memories from before meeting Sagi. The only clue is the awful feeling it gets from being here.
 
They arrive in Sheratan and catch up with [[Gena]] and the rest of the town for several days, reminiscing about old times and helping out with chores. When [[Tik]] and [[Wacho]] return from [[Lake Botein]], they bring back rumors of a huge monster in the lake that might be connected to the recent disappearances in the village. The trio goes to the lake to investigate, and sure enough see the silhouette of a large creature in the water that matches the one back at the Emperor’s Residence. They manage to drain the lake and save some of the missing villagers, but the monster attacks them. Once more they are overwhelmed until Guillo begins to glow and attack the monster, swiftly dispatching it. Unlike last time, Guillo remembers the entire ordeal and speculates that, “I may have been made for the sole purpose of killing these things.” With more villagers to find, the group agrees to discuss the implications later.
 
When they return to Sheratan, a troop of imperial soldiers is waiting for them led by [[Valara]] in a large [[Machina Arma]]. Despite doing their best to defend themselves and village, the trio has no chance of winning against such a powerful machina and soon find themselves cornered. Before Valara can end them, the lake monster jumps into the fray and begins ripping into the machina. Seeing that Valara is charging a devastating blast, Guillo warns Sagi and Milly and they leap out of the way just in time to avoid Valara’s laser blast. The monster is obliterated along with a good chunk of Hassaleh. Sagi passes out from the pain.
 
Unlike the last time, Guillo and Milly arrive with Sagi in the same other world and look around in confusion while the group of strangers asks ‘Marno’ if he’s alright. Despite standing right in front of them, they don’t seem to see or hear Guillo and Milly at all. Without knowing anything about where they are or how to get back to Sheraton, their best option seems to be following the group of strangers towards a place called [[Naos]]. In the [[Sandfeeder's Nest]], the group encounters the giant Sandfeeder itself which is immune to the strangers’ magic. Sagi, Guillo, and Milly however defeat the creature with ease. Guillo notes that their magic seems very similar to its own, maybe even stronger.
 
Sagi gets one of his headaches again and the trio returns to the present, where the fallen lake monster fades away in a black mist and Valara calls a tactical retreat. Sagi collapses and Guillo and Milly drag him back to the orphanage. After he comes to, the three make plans to return to Alfard to speak with Verus to learn what he knows about what happened the night of the Emperor’s assassination. Gena, Wacho, and Tik accompany them to the port to see them off.

Milly refuses, reasoning that she can lead them to Quaestor Verus’ residence much easier than they could find it on their own. With Sagi wanting to accept Milly’s continued assistance, Guillo belligerently relents and she leads them away.

Olgan’s funeral procession is taking place in the streets of Greater Mintaka, and the people are abuzz with excitement about the upcoming imperial candidate speeches. The three join the crowd in the central plaza to witness Lord Baelheit and Quaeston Verus’ introductions. Guillo notes upon Verus’ lackluster speaking skills and asks Milly about the promachination that was mentioned in Baeheit’s speech.  


A man beckons them into a secret passage that leads through the sewers to the streets of Mintaka. With little option but to trust the stranger, they accept his lead and escape through the sewers.
Just as the three of them turn to head out, a bomb goes off in the plaza that throws the area into chaos. Sagi and Milly are thrown to the ground and Sagi looks around frantically for Guillo who was the closest to the blast zone. Thanks in part to its inhuman nature, Guillo walks out of the wreckage unharmed. The same can’t be said for the various other citizens who were nearby and the three offer to help the bystanders.


Guillo expresses distaste for the rankness of the sewers as they surface in Mintaka, where the city is on high alert looking for the two of them. Sagi determines that they should find a liner to Hassaleh to which Guillo protests, but Sagi argues that since he never told the Dark Service where he’s from they’d never think to look there.  
After the commotion settles, the group arrives at the Quaestor’s residence where Geldoblame is waiting to bring them in. The three are of them are introduced to Verus who remarks about how he’s heard about how Guillo butchered the umbras, and Guillo is none too pleased that Verus seems to know so much about their exploits already. After their introductions, Verus goes into detail about Baelheit’s plans to spread promachination to the other islands and asks for Sagi’s assistance in stopping him. In exchange, he’ll strike the assassination charge from Sagi’s record in addition to sending aid to the orphanage. The three retire to think it over.


On their way to the port, the pair is attacked by a large group of imperial soldiers, including Giacomo. A mysterious girl leaps to their rescue and fends off the soldiers, introducing herself as Milliarde. Guillo is immediately suspicious of her ‘evil vibrations’, but she joins the party despite their wishes.  
Milly suggests they take a walk to [[Azha]] for a change of scenery while Sagi thinks on the Quaestor’s offer. The three of them split up once in Azha and Guillo is immediately grabbed by the local children who begin to play and hang from its frame, much to its chagrin. The three reconvene once Sagi makes up his mind and they return to Greater Mintaka. Sagi apologizes for making the two of them worry.

It’s revealed that when Sagi was a little kid, he found Guillo buried in the Thornwoods and Guillo doesn’t have any memories from before meeting Sagi. The only clue is that it hurts to be in the Thornwoods.
Now in the employ of Quaestor Verus, Sagi, Guillo, and Milly receive their first task, look into the recent surge in terrorist activity in Mintaka. Verus has a lead that the mastermind behind the attacks is in Azha, so the group leaves to begin their task. After a series of investigations the three confront Bein in the Lava Caves and engage in combat against the umbra that appears. Once again, Guillo is enveloped in a strange energy but manages to control it enough to await Sagi’s confirmation to kill the monster. As Sagi is hesitating, Valara arrives in her Machina Arma and kills the creature herself. Sagi passes out and the three are transported to the other world.

Sagi, Guillo, and Milly come to consciousness in Naos, where Seph and the others are meeting about what to do about Wiseman. The plan is to go to [[Cujam]] to petition Wiseman directly. Without their limited ability to interact with the people here, Milly proposes they go out and explore to try and figure out where it is that they keep ending up. Guillo is grappling with the feeling that this place is familiar somehow, but can’t put its finger on it. When the trio find a vantage point at the edge of the structure they’re on, they see land as far as the eye can see. Somehow they are below the sky itself.


When they return to Sheratan, a troop of imperial soldiers is waiting for them with Valara in the lead, piloting a large machina arma. Despite doing their best to defend themselves and village, the trio has no chance of winning against such a powerful machina. Cornered by Valara and her arma, the trio are saved by the lake monster jumping into the fray and ripping into the machina. Guillo and the others leap out of the way just in time to avoid Valara’s arma’s laser blast that shears through the monster and also a chunk of Hasseleh. Sagi passes out.
Sagi’s headache brings them back to the Lava Caves. Unfortunately there’s no time to rest, as Valara’s wild attacks have destabilized the cave system. A massive fish-like creature emerges from the lava which Milly identifies as the [[Lord of the Lava Caves]]. Despite the shaking rock formations around them and the relentless pursuit of the fish creature, the three make it back to the Quaestor’s estate.
Unlike last time, Guillo and Milly arrive in the same other world with Sagi this time. While the group of strangers asks ‘Marno’ if he’s alright, they don’t seem to see or hear Guillo or Milly at all. With their best option for answers being the group of strangers, the trio follow them towards a place called Naos through Sandfeeder Hollow. When they encounter the Sandfeeder itself, the other group of strangers can’t seem to damage it at all with their magic, but Sagi, Guillo, and Milly defeat the creature with ease. Guillo notices that their magic seems very similar to its own, maybe even stronger.

After debriefing on the situation, Verus gives the bad news that Baelheit overrode the motion to clear Sagi’s name and has requested to see Sagi in person before exonerating him. Guillo states that walking into Baelheit’s residence would be a death sentence, but Verus reassures them that it’s unlikely that Baelheit will do anything to harm them as they are under his wing now. Sagi insists that they both go through with the visit, even if it’s only to meet the person who framed him face to face.

Sagi and Guillo arrive at Baelheit’s residence and are greeted by Shanath, whom they recognize as Emperor Olgan’s killer from the night of the assasination. They say as much and Shanath flatly denies their accusations, reminding them that on the books it’s still Sagi who murdered the emperor. With no evidence to refute the claim, they follow Shanath to Baelheit’s office. The meeting is brief. It seems that Baelheit only wanted to verify the claims that Sagi was a spiriter. With their business finished, the two are released with a clean record.


Back in Mintaka, Guillo dismisses Milly, saying that she can leave now that she’s seen the outside world. Milly refuses, reasoning that she can lead them to Quaestor Verus’ residence much easier than they could find it on their own. Guillo belligerently relents, letting Sagi decide to let her tag along.

The three are sent to [[Diadem]] to secure King Ladekahn’s cooperation in opposing Baelheit’s promachination, and Verus assigns them a private ship to take them wherever they need to go. In [[Sheliak]], they meet [[Rambari]], [[Celsica]], and the other knights of Diadem, but the young King [[Ladekahn]] runs off with his friend [[Gibari]] before they can secure an audience with him.

The trio follows King Ladekahn and Gibari through the cloud passage and arrives in [[Nashira]], only to witness the two boys being captured by the occupying empire soldiers. Sagi and the others hatch a plan to escape Nashira, and through wreaking a bit of havoc on the imperial soldiers they use the secret passage in the pub to leave. After a brief interruption by Giacomo, everyone makes it back to Sheliak safely.


Milly suggests they take a walk to Azha for a change of scenery while Sagi thinks on the Quaestor’s offer. The three of them split up once in Azha and Guillo is immediately grabbed by the local children who begin to play and hang from its frame. Back in Shelliak, the empire has invaded and begun installing machina in the heart of the Cloudvents, an vital resource in Diadem’s cloud ecosystem. The party goes in after them and encounters Shanath, Valara, Heughes, and Nasca, prompting a fight over the fate of Diadem’s Cloudvents. When the confrontation takes a turn for the worse and King Ladekahn gets captured by Shanath, Rambari’s sacrifice triggers the appearance of another umbra. Much like the other times, Sagi blacks out and the group is sent to the other world.

Guillo reminds a distraught Sagi that they’re stuck here for the moment, despite how much he might want to get back to the catastrophe they left behind. With few other options, the group follows the siblings to Cujam to meet with Wiseman. The three are then sent back to the present.

Back in the Cloudvents, Nasca approaches in his Machina Arma. Despite their best efforts, Sagi, Guillo, and Milly can’t even lay a scratch on the machine and are forced to retreat with the help of Ladekahn and Gibari. When the dust has settled, Ladekahn tells Sagi that Diadem will join the fight against Baelheit and the group returns to Alfard.
===Working Under Verus===


Now in the employ of Quaetor Verus, they receive their first task which in catching the Mourning Mistral, the rogue person who set off the bomb in Greater Mintaka. After a series of investigations the three confront Bein in the Lava Caves and engage in combat against the umbra that appears. Once again, Guillo is enveloped in powerful energy and awaits Sagi’s confirmation to kill the monster. As Sagi is hesitating, Valara arrives in her Machina Arma and kills the creature herself. Sagi passes out and the three are transported to the other world.
Quaestor Verus gives them their next mission in [[Sadal Suud]]. He then tells them about the ancient origins of the afterlings that they’ve been encountering, and how the people who turn into them have small pieces of Malpercio living in side of them that trigger the transformation.  


Sagi, Guillo, and Milly come to in Naos where Seph and the others are meeting about what to do about Wiseman. The plan is to go to Cujam. Milly proposes they go out and explore to try and figure out where they keep ending up during these dreams of theirs. Guillo keeps getting the feeling that this place is familiar somehow. The trio walk out onto a vantage point and see that they are somehow under the sky itself with land stretching as far as the eye can see.  
In [[Pherkad]], the empire has commissioned a local artist to draw wanted posters of the three companions which has the town on high alert. Guillo and Milly are incensed about the inaccuracies of the illustration and demand they be taken down. After quieting the rumors, the trio tail Rodolfo and Heughes to [[Cebalrai]], then back to the Lord’s Mansion in Pherkad to try talking to him alone. Guillo is unimpressed with Rodolfo’s selfish plan to milk the empire for money, despite Rodolfo’s reluctance to go forward with promachination as a whole. However, Heughes enters the room before they can finish their conversation and invites Sagi and crew to [[Nunki Valley]] where he’s already begun promachination without Rodolfo’s consent.


Back in the Lava Caves, the three have to make a hasty escape as Valara’s wanton attacks have destabilized the cave, all the while they are being pursued by the Lord of the Lava Caves. Guillo berates Milly for sleeping through her school lesson on how to slay such a creature, but they kill the creature in the end and return to Verus’ estate.
Sagi, Guillo, and Milly are no match for Heughes and his Machina Arma, and soon Shanath arrives with a new threat, an afterling born of a wild animal. Outmatched by the creature, Guillo begins to glow with the now familiar energy and reassures Sagi that it’s almost over, but before the afterling can be neutralized, it knocks Guillo out of the way and grabs Milly, forcing Sagi to land the killing blow, sending them all to the other world once more.


After debriefing on the situation, Verus gives the bad news that Baelheit overrode the motion to clear Sagi’s name. He requested to see Sagi in person before being exonerated. The three follow Seph and the others back to Naos after their failed diplomacy with Wiseman and discover that it was attacked while they were away. The siblings decide to go to Zaurak Keep to forge a new alliance. Before Sagi and the others can find out who they’re dealing with, they are sent back to the present.


Sagi and Guillo enter Baelheit’s residence and meet Shanath, whom they recognize as Emperor Olgan’s killer. He flatly denies their accusations and reminds them that on the books, Sagi is the one who murdered the emperor. They follow Shanath to Baelheit’s office where their meeting is brief. Baelheit only wanted to verify the claims that Sagi was a spiriter, and with that he releases them both. They reunite with Milly and return to Verus.
Guillo prompts Sagi to call Verus after their failure to stop promachination in Sadal Suud. Unfortunately Verus can do little but offer his consolations of their efforts.
Verus sends the group to Diadem to secure their cooperation in opposing Baelheit’s promachination. After meeting Celsica and the knights of Diadem, the trio chase after King Ladekahn and Gibari through the cloud passage. Guillo is unsettled by the shifting, fluffy environment. They arrive in Nashira and witness the king and Gibari being captured and make a plan to get captured as well to meet up with them. Once together with the two boys, they all make their escape together and after wreaking abit aof havoc on the soldiers who have occupied Nashira, they sneak out of town via the secret passage in Anna’s pub.


Giacomo ambushes the trio on their way back to Sheliak, but is handily beat. Ladekhan and Gibari head back to Sheliak much to the dismay of Rambari who’s just arrived. Guillo comments on their precoscious natures.

With only one more continent to go, the three set out for [[Anuenue]] to speak with [[Queen Corelia]]. Sagi and Guillo ask Milly about her experiences at the School of Magic as she mentioned earlier that Anuenue was one of the only places she ever got to see aside from Alfard. As they are nearing Anuenue, a Dark Service patrol ship appears and begins shooting at the Sfida. Without any kind of weapons system, the pilot can’t do much other than try to outfly their attackers, but before long they are forced to crash in the [[Holoholo Jungle]].


Guillo reminds Sagi that they’re stuck here for now, despite how much he might want to get back to the catastrophe they left behind. With little other option, the group heads to Cujam with the four siblings to meet with Wiseman. The meeting goes poorly and the three are sent back to the present.
Milly realizes where they are and frantically explains that without a landmark stone, they have no conventional way out of the jungle and way be lost until they starve to death or get eaten. Things go from bad to worse when a [[Holoholo Bird]] swoops down with its young, intent to make the three of them its dinner. After a tough fight, the three venture out into the jungle, getting hopelessly turned around in the dense foliage. However, with the help from an olifant they manage to blaze a trail to civilization.


Back in the Cloudvents, Nasca approaches in his Machina Arma. Despite their best efforts, Sagi, Guillo, and Milly can’t even lay a scratch on the machine and are forced to retreat with the help of Ladekahn. After settling things with Ladekahn, the group returns to Alfard.
In an audience with Queen Corelia, the three try to explain the dangers of Baelheit’s promachination mission, but she is unwilling to take a stance on international affairs. With the Sfida still out of commission, they venture to Opu Village in search of any means of repairing their ship. There they meet Lolo, who claims that with wood from Celestial Tree she could make parts sturdy enough to work with the machina of their ship.  


They all debrief with Quaestor Verus and learn about the origins of the Afterlings they keep running into before being sent to Sadal Suud. In Perkhad, the empire has commissioned a local artist to draw wanted posters of the three companions which has the town on high alert. Guillo is incensed about the inaccuracies of the illustration and demands they be taken down.  
Corelia is unwilling to grant them any wood from the Celestial Tree, but they hear reports of imperial troops inside the Veinroots of the Celestial Tree and Sagi volunteers to help put a stop to it. With the help of Lolo’s gadgets, they make it to where Baelheit’s men are working in the Veinroots and confront Valara and Shanath. An afterling appears and attacks Valara on behalf of the tree. Sagi impresses on the others that it’s not right to kill these creatures and they agree to target the roots instead, aiming to free it from the dangerous situation they’re in. Although they succeed, Valara uses her Machina Arma to kill the afterling anyway, sending Sagi and the others to the other world.


After quieting the rumors, the trio follow Rodolfo and Heughes to Cebalrai, then back to the Lord’s Mansion in Pherkad to try talking to him again. Guillo is unimpressed with Rodolfo’s selfish plan to milk the empire for money, but despite Rodolfo’s reluctance to go forward with promachination, Heughes enters and invites Sagi and crew to Nunki Valley where he’s already begun promachination.
The three are resigned to follow the strangers through Zaurak Keep and watch them make a deal with the Dark Brethren, receiving the power to slay Wiseman. They then follow them back to Naos and realize that this whole time they’ve been travelling back in time to the [[Age of the Gods]]. They resolve to try to help Seph and the others while they’re here and follow them to the Battlefields of [[Atria]] before Sagi’s headache sends them back to the present time.


Sagi, Guillo, and Milly are no match for Heughes and his Machina Arma, and soon Shanath arrives with a new threat, an afterling born of a wild animal. Outmatched by the creature, Guillo begins to glow with the now familiar energy and reassures Sagi that it’s almost over, but before the creature can be neutralized, the afterling knocks Guillo out of the way and grabs Milly, forcing Sagi to land the killing blow, sending them all to the other world once more.
Surrounded and outmatched by Valara and her men, they retreat once more and return to [[Komo Mai]]. Despite not succeeding, Corellia allows them to take some branches for repairs and they finally make it back to Alfard.


The three follow Seph and the others around for a while, fist to Naos, then to Zaurak Keep, before getting sent back to the present.
Baelheit is supposed to make an announcement tomorrow, so Geldoblame offers his room for them to stay the night in the city. Guillo insists they take a moment to review their journey so far, so that all of them are on the same page. Guillo is of the opinion that they should let Baelheit and Verus sort out their issues between themselves from now on. It’s beyond anything they can help with. Same with “that mess with the past and the gods.” The situation is too dangerous and too full of unknowns. Sagi disagrees. He feels he owes it to his guardian spirit to figure out their link to the past, and Baelheit’s promachination is unforgivable. Someone has to do something about it. He can’t just sit by and let it happen. Guillo relents.


Guillo prompts Sagi to call Verus after the failure to stop promachination in Sadal Suud. Unfortunately Verus can do little but offer his consolations of their efforts.

‎The next day, the three of them attend the candidate speeches in Greater Mintaka and witness as Shanath brings out Gena as a demonstration of Baeheit’s plan for a ‘no wing’ future. Enraged, Sagi transforms into an afterling and is shot, sending him back to the past.

The Malpercio group, including Sagi/Marno, has murdered the entirety of Wiseman’s army. As they reel at the horrors of what they’ve done, a group of mysterious wizards approach them. One by one, the two lead sorcerers summon their godcraft puppets to kill each of the siblings until they finally get to Marno and a past version of Guillo drops from the sky and attacks. After a tough battle, past Guillo lunges forward and stabs Marno through the stomach, killing him.

|}With only one more continent to go, the three set out for Anuenue. En route they are shot out of the sky by a Dark Service patrol ship and crash land in the Holoholo Jungle. After fighting off a Holoholo Bird, the three try to find their way out of the jungle and get hopelessly turned around in the sprawling jungle. Without a landmark stone, they have no conventional way out of the jungle, but with the help of an Oliphant and a Holoholo Fruit, they manage to blaze a trail to civilization.
Meanwhile in the present, Guillo and Milly find themselves back in the plaza where Sagi was on the verge of collapse. During the ensuing commotion they grabbed Gena and fled Mintaka to get her back to Hassaleh. They then ventured into the depths of the [[Vega Building Site]] where Sagi was being held prisoner and helped free him, now looking for the best way out of the gloomy construction site.


The three secure an audience with Queen Corelia, but she is unwilling to step in on international affairs. As they’re unable to leave Anuenue with their broken ship though, they ask around to see if anyone on the island might be able to help with their ship repairs. With Corellia busy and with little infrastructure for such things on Anuenue, they venture to Opu Village.
They run into Shanath on one of the large elevators and he expresses the intent to kill each of them, despite orders to spare them. After their fight with Shanath and his Machina Arma, they listen as he recounts the truth behind the maldeiter project and Sagi chooses to either kill him or leave him to die from his wounds.


They meet Lolo who claims that with wood from Celestial Tree, she could make parts sturdy enough to work with the machina of their ship. The three are consigned to follow the strangers through Zaurak Keep and watch them make a deal with the Dark Brethren, receiving the power to slay Wiseman. They then follow them back to Naos and realize that this whole time they’ve been travelling back in time to the Age of the Gods. They resolve to try to help Seph and the others while they’re here and follow them to the Battlefields of Atria before Sagi’s headache send them back to the present time.
The three of them return to Hasseleh to check on Gena. Sagi wants to find something to help Gena’s recovery and vows to scour the whole world for the solution if he has to. Guillo accepts this quest and promises to help the whole way. When Sagi prompts Guillo and Milly if they also have anywhere they’d like to visit along the way, Guillo requests to visit [[Duhr]] as it seems clear due to their dreams of the past, that they share some sort of connection.


Surrounded and outmatched by Valara and her men, they retreat once more. Guillo presses them to continue on to ask Corellia for the fell branches they need. With fell branches in hand, Lolo repairs their ship and they finally manage to head back to Alfard.

The three of them take the Sfida down through the [[Taintclouds]] and land in the port outside of town. Two children witness them arriving and run to tell their village leader. The group follows them to [[Algorab Village]] where the town is abuzz at the rare sight of strangers. [[Krumly]] insists to the townsfolk that they are planned guests of his and shepherds them into his house to avoid causing a commotion. Guillo makes a comment about the children from before still staring at them and Krumly is surprised that this godcraft can talk.  


Baelheit is supposed to make an announcement tomorrow, so Geldoblame offers his room for them to stay the night in the city. Guillo insists they take a moment to go over the facts of their journey so far so they’re all on the same page.
Inside Krumly’s home, it’s revealed that the Children of the Earth are in possession of another puppet that looks almost identical to Guillo, under the safekeeping of the Great Kamroh. Krumly agrees to accompany them to [[Gemma]] on the condition that they pretend to be Children of the Earth to avoid unnecessary panic.


Guillo is of the opinion that they should let Baelheit and Verus sort out their issues between themselves from now on. It’s beyond anyting they can ehlp with. Same with “that mess with the past and the gods.” Guillo tries to convince Sagi that it’s too dangerous, but Sagi steadfastly stands by that what Baelheit is doing is wrong and he can’t just sit by and let it happen. Guillo relents, not about to let Sagi go off on his own.
In Gemma, Krumly introduces them to the Great Kamroh who is astonished to see newcomers from the sky. Even more astonishing is the news that Hassaleh is among the lands that now float aloft when it was not one of the original five continents that their wizard ancestors raised after the war of the gods. He speculates that this is due to the residual energy from the many corpses that remained in Atria at the end of the war. The Great Kamroh then requests that Krumly and Kamroh leave to give the four of them some privacy.

The Great Kamroh brings them into a side chamber where there are three empty alcoves and a fourth that houses a very familiar looking puppet. He introduces the puppet as [[Seginus]] and says that it’s been passed down from chief to chief since ancient times. Guillo touches the puppet and the three companions find themselves transported to a strange crystalline dimension. They surmise that they are now within Seginus in some form or another. Guillo beseeches the other two to help uncover the answers they might find here.

The group encounters several pockets of memory that detail the creation of four vessels;  Seginus, Syrma, Dubhe, and Guillo. The vessels are to be infused with magic from two of the most powerful sorcerers of the Earth Children, who will then use them to kill the god-like beings that are currently waging war on their lands.  
Guillo and Milly arrive and recount


After getting sent back to the present, Guillo and Milly found themselves back in the plaza where Sagi was on the verge of collapse. During the commotion they grabbed Gena and fled Mintaka to get her back to Hassaleh. They then returned to Alfard to find and rescue Sagi from the Vega Building Site.
The sorcerers are unable to get Seginus to fuse properly with their magic however, so it’s decided that they will each take one single vessel and bond both of their magic to Guillo as the threat of Malpercio looms fast in Atria.  


They start to look for the best way out of the gloomy construction site and run into Shanath who intends to kill Sagi and the others as well. After their fight with Shanath and his Machina Arma, they listen as he recounts the truth behind the maldeiter project and either kill him or leave him to die.
After the destruction of Malpercio, the Children of the Earth discuss their plans to raise the islands into the sky to protect the remaining people of the land. Two of the godcraft have been confirmed destroyed, but it is unknown what happened to Guillo. They presume that it was entombed in a sea of corpses and lost to time.


===Guillo’s Origins===
The three discuss the memories they witnessed, surmising that the wills of the two sorcerers who infused their magic into Guillo must have remained in its body after the battle. Guillo expresses regret for killing Sagi’s guardian spirit/Marno in the past, but Sagi is quick to correct that no matter what happened in the past, the Guillo that they all know now is a good friend, which seems to make Guillo feel a bit better.


The three of them return to Hasseleh to check on Gena. Sagi wants to find something to help Gena’s recovery and vows to scour the whole world for the solution if he has to. Guillo accepts this quest and vows to help the whole way. When Sagi prompts Guillo and Milly if they also have anywhere they’d like to visit along the way, Guillo requests to visit Duhr as it seems clear due to the dreams of the past, that they share some sort of connection.
Activating all of the memories in Seginus causes the inert puppet to call out to them, calling for the death of Malpercio, sensing Sagi’s guardian spirit. A mental avatar of Seginus appears and fights the trio, but is bested. They return to consciousness in Gemma once more. Guillo thanks the Great Kamroh for allowing them all access to the puppet, then asks the Great Kamroh if he would seal Seginus’ power away.

Verus requests and audience with the three heroes, wanting to discuss what to do about Tarazed. Before they can board it, it takes off, revealing Baelheit’s plan to the world. The three sneak aboard using the mass immigration of Alfard’s citizens as cover for the Sfida and begin the search of Baelheit.

While exploring Tarazed's Core, they find several rooms full of dark cube-like structures. Milly and Guillo lend Sagi a portion of their heart’s power to make it through the rooms.


Finally the three confront Baelheit on Tarazed’s bridge. Sagi and Milly attempt to talk Baelheit down from his zealous mission to little avail. Tensions escalate and Baelheit attacks Milly. Guillo snaps and attacks Baelheit, but he has safeguards in place and Guillo is caught by an electrical field that disables its body.


Guillo shoves Milly out of the way and takes her place in the machine.


At some point Sagi and Milly recovered Guillo’s head from Tarazed, which still exemplifies some sort of life through its glowing eyes.

Guillo uses a variety of magic based attacks with Ice being the most used element.
Guillo uses a variety of magic based attacks with Ice being the most used element and has the highest attack power of the three, but the lowest HP. In manipulating its own body to channel magic into a wide variety of elemental finishers and large destructive blasts of magic, they are able to use powerful magic not normally used by people of the sky. Guillo is the only party member that has finishers of every element and is the only party member that can use certain high level healing magnus.

Guillo is one of the main playable characters in Baten Kaitos: Origins. Sometimes referred to as a paramachina, a puppet, or something else entirely, Guillo is the steadfast and lifelong companion to Sagi who never seems to be far away from the boy. As such, it is ruthlessly loyal and protective of him, and is willing to do just about anything to stand by his side.

Guillo is extremely protective of Sagi ever since the boy dug up the puppet in Nusakan Thornwoods years ago, often warning him of danger and verbally snapping at anyone who seems to not have his best interests at heart.

Story

Prior to the beginning of the game, Sagi decides to leave home to try and make some money to support his mother. Guillo accompanies him, despite reservations about the plan, and registers as his paramachina partner in both the imperial army and later the Dark Service.

When Sagi is awoken in the middle of the night for an urgent mission, all service members are authorized use of their paramachina. Sagi releases Guillo from one of the machina pods and reminds Guillo to remain silent around others to keep up the guise of a paramachina.

Sagi is assigned to lead a group of soldiers to assassinate Emperor Olgan, but when they find the Emperor already dead at the hands of a stranger, Sagi and his squad are turned on by his commander. They’ve been framed! Guillo leaps in front of Sagi, absorbing the gunfire from the opposing squad of servicemen and the pair flee the room with soldiers in hot pursuit. In the halls leading away from the main building, a hideous monster bursts through the wall and slaughters their two fellow squad members and attacks them. Stuck between the seemingly invulnerable monster and the pursuing empire soldiers, Guillo begins to glow with an intense energy and attacks the monster with precise blows, finally delivering a killing strike through the skull. Sagi keels over in pain and passes out.

On the Run

A moment later, Sagi wakes up and Guillo fills him in on what happened while he was out. The monster is dead, thanks to Guillo, who temporarily lost control of its body as instructions on how to kill it filled its head. However there’s little time to dwell on the strange occurrences and the two continue their escape from the Emperor’s mansion. A man beckons them into a secret passage that leads through the sewers to the streets of Mintaka. Guillo is distrustful of the stranger, but with few options at hand, they accept his lead and escape through the sewers.

Guillo expresses distaste for the rankness of the sewers as they surface in Mintaka, where the city is on high alert looking for the two of them. Sagi concludes that they should find a liner to Hassaleh to hide out for a bit since he never told the Dark Service where he’s from. Guillo protests but follows Sagi.

On their way to the port, the pair is attacked by a large group of imperial soldiers led by Giacomo. A mysterious girl leaps to their rescue and handily fends off the soldiers, introducing herself as Milliarde. Guillo is immediately suspicious of her ‘evil vibrations’, but she joins them on the liner regardless, eager to see Sheratan.



“Don’t say I didn’t warn you. … You could drop a ton of bricks on her, and the bricks would be helpless.”

The trio enter Nusakan Thornwood and Guillo complains about feeling sick whenever being in the area. Milly is surprised at this statement, and Sagi explains that when he was a little kid he found Guillo buried in the Thornwoods. Neither of them knows how it came to be there as Guillo doesn’t have any memories from before meeting Sagi. The only clue is the awful feeling it gets from being here.

They arrive in Sheratan and catch up with Gena and the rest of the town for several days, reminiscing about old times and helping out with chores. When Tik and Wacho return from Lake Botein, they bring back rumors of a huge monster in the lake that might be connected to the recent disappearances in the village. The trio goes to the lake to investigate, and sure enough see the silhouette of a large creature in the water that matches the one back at the Emperor’s Residence. They manage to drain the lake and save some of the missing villagers, but the monster attacks them. Once more they are overwhelmed until Guillo begins to glow and attack the monster, swiftly dispatching it. Unlike last time, Guillo remembers the entire ordeal and speculates that, “I may have been made for the sole purpose of killing these things.” With more villagers to find, the group agrees to discuss the implications later.

When they return to Sheratan, a troop of imperial soldiers is waiting for them led by Valara in a large Machina Arma. Despite doing their best to defend themselves and village, the trio has no chance of winning against such a powerful machina and soon find themselves cornered. Before Valara can end them, the lake monster jumps into the fray and begins ripping into the machina. Seeing that Valara is charging a devastating blast, Guillo warns Sagi and Milly and they leap out of the way just in time to avoid Valara’s laser blast. The monster is obliterated along with a good chunk of Hassaleh. Sagi passes out from the pain.

Unlike the last time, Guillo and Milly arrive with Sagi in the same other world and look around in confusion while the group of strangers asks ‘Marno’ if he’s alright. Despite standing right in front of them, they don’t seem to see or hear Guillo and Milly at all. Without knowing anything about where they are or how to get back to Sheraton, their best option seems to be following the group of strangers towards a place called Naos. In the Sandfeeder's Nest, the group encounters the giant Sandfeeder itself which is immune to the strangers’ magic. Sagi, Guillo, and Milly however defeat the creature with ease. Guillo notes that their magic seems very similar to its own, maybe even stronger.

Sagi gets one of his headaches again and the trio returns to the present, where the fallen lake monster fades away in a black mist and Valara calls a tactical retreat. Sagi collapses and Guillo and Milly drag him back to the orphanage. After he comes to, the three make plans to return to Alfard to speak with Verus to learn what he knows about what happened the night of the Emperor’s assassination. Gena, Wacho, and Tik accompany them to the port to see them off.

Now that they are back in Mintaka, Guillo dismisses Milly, saying that she can return home now that she’s seen the outside world. Milly refuses, reasoning that she can lead them to Quaestor Verus’ residence much easier than they could find it on their own. With Sagi wanting to accept Milly’s continued assistance, Guillo belligerently relents and she leads them away.



“Pompous little wench! I'll eat you yet!”

Olgan’s funeral procession is taking place in the streets of Greater Mintaka, and the people are abuzz with excitement about the upcoming imperial candidate speeches. The three join the crowd in the central plaza to witness Lord Baelheit and Quaeston Verus’ introductions. Guillo notes upon Verus’ lackluster speaking skills and asks Milly about the promachination that was mentioned in Baeheit’s speech.

Just as the three of them turn to head out, a bomb goes off in the plaza that throws the area into chaos. Sagi and Milly are thrown to the ground and Sagi looks around frantically for Guillo who was the closest to the blast zone. Thanks in part to its inhuman nature, Guillo walks out of the wreckage unharmed. The same can’t be said for the various other citizens who were nearby and the three offer to help the bystanders.

After the commotion settles, the group arrives at the Quaestor’s residence where Geldoblame is waiting to bring them in. The three are of them are introduced to Verus who remarks about how he’s heard about how Guillo butchered the umbras, and Guillo is none too pleased that Verus seems to know so much about their exploits already. After their introductions, Verus goes into detail about Baelheit’s plans to spread promachination to the other islands and asks for Sagi’s assistance in stopping him. In exchange, he’ll strike the assassination charge from Sagi’s record in addition to sending aid to the orphanage. The three retire to think it over.

Milly suggests they take a walk to Azha for a change of scenery while Sagi thinks on the Quaestor’s offer. The three of them split up once in Azha and Guillo is immediately grabbed by the local children who begin to play and hang from its frame, much to its chagrin. The three reconvene once Sagi makes up his mind and they return to Greater Mintaka. Sagi apologizes for making the two of them worry.

Working Under Verus

Now in the employ of Quaestor Verus, Sagi, Guillo, and Milly receive their first task, look into the recent surge in terrorist activity in Mintaka. Verus has a lead that the mastermind behind the attacks is in Azha, so the group leaves to begin their task. After a series of investigations the three confront Bein in the Lava Caves and engage in combat against the umbra that appears. Once again, Guillo is enveloped in a strange energy but manages to control it enough to await Sagi’s confirmation to kill the monster. As Sagi is hesitating, Valara arrives in her Machina Arma and kills the creature herself. Sagi passes out and the three are transported to the other world.

Sagi, Guillo, and Milly come to consciousness in Naos, where Seph and the others are meeting about what to do about Wiseman. The plan is to go to Cujam to petition Wiseman directly. Without their limited ability to interact with the people here, Milly proposes they go out and explore to try and figure out where it is that they keep ending up. Guillo is grappling with the feeling that this place is familiar somehow, but can’t put its finger on it. When the trio find a vantage point at the edge of the structure they’re on, they see land as far as the eye can see. Somehow they are below the sky itself.

Sagi’s headache brings them back to the Lava Caves. Unfortunately there’s no time to rest, as Valara’s wild attacks have destabilized the cave system. A massive fish-like creature emerges from the lava which Milly identifies as the Lord of the Lava Caves. Despite the shaking rock formations around them and the relentless pursuit of the fish creature, the three make it back to the Quaestor’s estate.

After debriefing on the situation, Verus gives the bad news that Baelheit overrode the motion to clear Sagi’s name and has requested to see Sagi in person before exonerating him. Guillo states that walking into Baelheit’s residence would be a death sentence, but Verus reassures them that it’s unlikely that Baelheit will do anything to harm them as they are under his wing now. Sagi insists that they both go through with the visit, even if it’s only to meet the person who framed him face to face.

Sagi and Guillo arrive at Baelheit’s residence and are greeted by Shanath, whom they recognize as Emperor Olgan’s killer from the night of the assasination. They say as much and Shanath flatly denies their accusations, reminding them that on the books it’s still Sagi who murdered the emperor. With no evidence to refute the claim, they follow Shanath to Baelheit’s office. The meeting is brief. It seems that Baelheit only wanted to verify the claims that Sagi was a spiriter. With their business finished, the two are released with a clean record.


The three are sent to Diadem to secure King Ladekahn’s cooperation in opposing Baelheit’s promachination, and Verus assigns them a private ship to take them wherever they need to go. In Sheliak, they meet Rambari, Celsica, and the other knights of Diadem, but the young King Ladekahn runs off with his friend Gibari before they can secure an audience with him.

The trio follows King Ladekahn and Gibari through the cloud passage and arrives in Nashira, only to witness the two boys being captured by the occupying empire soldiers. Sagi and the others hatch a plan to escape Nashira, and through wreaking a bit of havoc on the imperial soldiers they use the secret passage in the pub to leave. After a brief interruption by Giacomo, everyone makes it back to Sheliak safely.

Back in Shelliak, the empire has invaded and begun installing machina in the heart of the Cloudvents, an vital resource in Diadem’s cloud ecosystem. The party goes in after them and encounters Shanath, Valara, Heughes, and Nasca, prompting a fight over the fate of Diadem’s Cloudvents. When the confrontation takes a turn for the worse and King Ladekahn gets captured by Shanath, Rambari’s sacrifice triggers the appearance of another umbra. Much like the other times, Sagi blacks out and the group is sent to the other world.

Guillo reminds a distraught Sagi that they’re stuck here for the moment, despite how much he might want to get back to the catastrophe they left behind. With few other options, the group follows the siblings to Cujam to meet with Wiseman. The three are then sent back to the present.

Back in the Cloudvents, Nasca approaches in his Machina Arma. Despite their best efforts, Sagi, Guillo, and Milly can’t even lay a scratch on the machine and are forced to retreat with the help of Ladekahn and Gibari. When the dust has settled, Ladekahn tells Sagi that Diadem will join the fight against Baelheit and the group returns to Alfard.

Quaestor Verus gives them their next mission in Sadal Suud. He then tells them about the ancient origins of the afterlings that they’ve been encountering, and how the people who turn into them have small pieces of Malpercio living in side of them that trigger the transformation.

In Pherkad, the empire has commissioned a local artist to draw wanted posters of the three companions which has the town on high alert. Guillo and Milly are incensed about the inaccuracies of the illustration and demand they be taken down. After quieting the rumors, the trio tail Rodolfo and Heughes to Cebalrai, then back to the Lord’s Mansion in Pherkad to try talking to him alone. Guillo is unimpressed with Rodolfo’s selfish plan to milk the empire for money, despite Rodolfo’s reluctance to go forward with promachination as a whole. However, Heughes enters the room before they can finish their conversation and invites Sagi and crew to Nunki Valley where he’s already begun promachination without Rodolfo’s consent.

Sagi, Guillo, and Milly are no match for Heughes and his Machina Arma, and soon Shanath arrives with a new threat, an afterling born of a wild animal. Outmatched by the creature, Guillo begins to glow with the now familiar energy and reassures Sagi that it’s almost over, but before the afterling can be neutralized, it knocks Guillo out of the way and grabs Milly, forcing Sagi to land the killing blow, sending them all to the other world once more.

The three follow Seph and the others back to Naos after their failed diplomacy with Wiseman and discover that it was attacked while they were away. The siblings decide to go to Zaurak Keep to forge a new alliance. Before Sagi and the others can find out who they’re dealing with, they are sent back to the present.

Guillo prompts Sagi to call Verus after their failure to stop promachination in Sadal Suud. Unfortunately Verus can do little but offer his consolations of their efforts.



“Callous, isn't he? I almost died, and he says "good work"?”

With only one more continent to go, the three set out for Anuenue to speak with Queen Corelia. Sagi and Guillo ask Milly about her experiences at the School of Magic as she mentioned earlier that Anuenue was one of the only places she ever got to see aside from Alfard. As they are nearing Anuenue, a Dark Service patrol ship appears and begins shooting at the Sfida. Without any kind of weapons system, the pilot can’t do much other than try to outfly their attackers, but before long they are forced to crash in the Holoholo Jungle.

Milly realizes where they are and frantically explains that without a landmark stone, they have no conventional way out of the jungle and way be lost until they starve to death or get eaten. Things go from bad to worse when a Holoholo Bird swoops down with its young, intent to make the three of them its dinner. After a tough fight, the three venture out into the jungle, getting hopelessly turned around in the dense foliage. However, with the help from an olifant they manage to blaze a trail to civilization.

In an audience with Queen Corelia, the three try to explain the dangers of Baelheit’s promachination mission, but she is unwilling to take a stance on international affairs. With the Sfida still out of commission, they venture to Opu Village in search of any means of repairing their ship. There they meet Lolo, who claims that with wood from Celestial Tree she could make parts sturdy enough to work with the machina of their ship.

Corelia is unwilling to grant them any wood from the Celestial Tree, but they hear reports of imperial troops inside the Veinroots of the Celestial Tree and Sagi volunteers to help put a stop to it. With the help of Lolo’s gadgets, they make it to where Baelheit’s men are working in the Veinroots and confront Valara and Shanath. An afterling appears and attacks Valara on behalf of the tree. Sagi impresses on the others that it’s not right to kill these creatures and they agree to target the roots instead, aiming to free it from the dangerous situation they’re in. Although they succeed, Valara uses her Machina Arma to kill the afterling anyway, sending Sagi and the others to the other world.

The three are resigned to follow the strangers through Zaurak Keep and watch them make a deal with the Dark Brethren, receiving the power to slay Wiseman. They then follow them back to Naos and realize that this whole time they’ve been travelling back in time to the Age of the Gods. They resolve to try to help Seph and the others while they’re here and follow them to the Battlefields of Atria before Sagi’s headache sends them back to the present time.

Surrounded and outmatched by Valara and her men, they retreat once more and return to Komo Mai. Despite not succeeding, Corellia allows them to take some branches for repairs and they finally make it back to Alfard.

Baelheit is supposed to make an announcement tomorrow, so Geldoblame offers his room for them to stay the night in the city. Guillo insists they take a moment to review their journey so far, so that all of them are on the same page. Guillo is of the opinion that they should let Baelheit and Verus sort out their issues between themselves from now on. It’s beyond anything they can help with. Same with “that mess with the past and the gods.” The situation is too dangerous and too full of unknowns. Sagi disagrees. He feels he owes it to his guardian spirit to figure out their link to the past, and Baelheit’s promachination is unforgivable. Someone has to do something about it. He can’t just sit by and let it happen. Guillo relents.



“Alright. I go where you go. If that's your decision, then I'll go with you, no matter how far. But don't come crying to me later.”

‎The next day, the three of them attend the candidate speeches in Greater Mintaka and witness as Shanath brings out Gena as a demonstration of Baeheit’s plan for a ‘no wing’ future. Enraged, Sagi transforms into an afterling and is shot, sending him back to the past.

The Malpercio group, including Sagi/Marno, has murdered the entirety of Wiseman’s army. As they reel at the horrors of what they’ve done, a group of mysterious wizards approach them. One by one, the two lead sorcerers summon their godcraft puppets to kill each of the siblings until they finally get to Marno and a past version of Guillo drops from the sky and attacks. After a tough battle, past Guillo lunges forward and stabs Marno through the stomach, killing him.

Meanwhile in the present, Guillo and Milly find themselves back in the plaza where Sagi was on the verge of collapse. During the ensuing commotion they grabbed Gena and fled Mintaka to get her back to Hassaleh. They then ventured into the depths of the Vega Building Site where Sagi was being held prisoner and helped free him, now looking for the best way out of the gloomy construction site.

They run into Shanath on one of the large elevators and he expresses the intent to kill each of them, despite orders to spare them. After their fight with Shanath and his Machina Arma, they listen as he recounts the truth behind the maldeiter project and Sagi chooses to either kill him or leave him to die from his wounds.


Guillo’s Origins

The three of them return to Hasseleh to check on Gena. Sagi wants to find something to help Gena’s recovery and vows to scour the whole world for the solution if he has to. Guillo accepts this quest and promises to help the whole way. When Sagi prompts Guillo and Milly if they also have anywhere they’d like to visit along the way, Guillo requests to visit Duhr as it seems clear due to their dreams of the past, that they share some sort of connection.



“I want to know what I am. Why I was made. I might find some answers there.”

The three of them take the Sfida down through the Taintclouds and land in the port outside of town. Two children witness them arriving and run to tell their village leader. The group follows them to Algorab Village where the town is abuzz at the rare sight of strangers. Krumly insists to the townsfolk that they are planned guests of his and shepherds them into his house to avoid causing a commotion. Guillo makes a comment about the children from before still staring at them and Krumly is surprised that this godcraft can talk.

Inside Krumly’s home, it’s revealed that the Children of the Earth are in possession of another puppet that looks almost identical to Guillo, under the safekeeping of the Great Kamroh. Krumly agrees to accompany them to Gemma on the condition that they pretend to be Children of the Earth to avoid unnecessary panic.

In Gemma, Krumly introduces them to the Great Kamroh who is astonished to see newcomers from the sky. Even more astonishing is the news that Hassaleh is among the lands that now float aloft when it was not one of the original five continents that their wizard ancestors raised after the war of the gods. He speculates that this is due to the residual energy from the many corpses that remained in Atria at the end of the war. The Great Kamroh then requests that Krumly and Kamroh leave to give the four of them some privacy.

The Great Kamroh brings them into a side chamber where there are three empty alcoves and a fourth that houses a very familiar looking puppet. He introduces the puppet as Seginus and says that it’s been passed down from chief to chief since ancient times. Guillo touches the puppet and the three companions find themselves transported to a strange crystalline dimension. They surmise that they are now within Seginus in some form or another. Guillo beseeches the other two to help uncover the answers they might find here.

The group encounters several pockets of memory that detail the creation of four vessels; Seginus, Syrma, Dubhe, and Guillo. The vessels are to be infused with magic from two of the most powerful sorcerers of the Earth Children, who will then use them to kill the god-like beings that are currently waging war on their lands.

The sorcerers are unable to get Seginus to fuse properly with their magic however, so it’s decided that they will each take one single vessel and bond both of their magic to Guillo as the threat of Malpercio looms fast in Atria.

After the destruction of Malpercio, the Children of the Earth discuss their plans to raise the islands into the sky to protect the remaining people of the land. Two of the godcraft have been confirmed destroyed, but it is unknown what happened to Guillo. They presume that it was entombed in a sea of corpses and lost to time.

The three discuss the memories they witnessed, surmising that the wills of the two sorcerers who infused their magic into Guillo must have remained in its body after the battle. Guillo expresses regret for killing Sagi’s guardian spirit/Marno in the past, but Sagi is quick to correct that no matter what happened in the past, the Guillo that they all know now is a good friend, which seems to make Guillo feel a bit better.

Activating all of the memories in Seginus causes the inert puppet to call out to them, calling for the death of Malpercio, sensing Sagi’s guardian spirit. A mental avatar of Seginus appears and fights the trio, but is bested. They return to consciousness in Gemma once more. Guillo thanks the Great Kamroh for allowing them all access to the puppet, then asks the Great Kamroh if he would seal Seginus’ power away.

Confronting the Empire

Verus requests and audience with the three heroes, wanting to discuss what to do about Tarazed. Before they can board it, it takes off, revealing Baelheit’s plan to the world. The three sneak aboard using the mass immigration of Alfard’s citizens as cover for the Sfida and begin the search of Baelheit.

While exploring Tarazed's Core, they find several rooms full of dark cube-like structures. Milly and Guillo lend Sagi a portion of their heart’s power to make it through the rooms.

Finally the three confront Baelheit on Tarazed’s bridge. Sagi and Milly attempt to talk Baelheit down from his zealous mission to little avail. Tensions escalate and Baelheit attacks Milly. Guillo snaps and attacks Baelheit, but he has safeguards in place and Guillo is caught by an electrical field that disables its body.

Guillo shoves Milly out of the way and takes her place in the machine.

At some point Sagi and Milly recovered Guillo’s head from Tarazed, which still exemplifies some sort of life through its glowing eyes.

Battle Style

Guillo uses a variety of magic based attacks with Ice being the most used element and has the highest attack power of the three, but the lowest HP. In manipulating its own body to channel magic into a wide variety of elemental finishers and large destructive blasts of magic, they are able to use powerful magic not normally used by people of the sky. Guillo is the only party member that has finishers of every element and is the only party member that can use certain high level healing magnus.
