Rodolfo (later Lord Rodolfo) is the opportunistic, leading figurehead of Sadal Suud. Born and raised in Sadal Suud, he is proud of his home island and the natural bounties it has to offer, but he longs for a bigger place in the world both for himself and his nation. While he does have Sadal Suud's best interests at heart, he's just as eager to keep plenty of perks for himself and tends to be a pushover when it comes to saving his own skin. When the situation is dire however, he stands by the heroes and does his part for the greater good.

Baten Kaitos: Origins

"All I want is their gold. I plan to milk the Empire for as much money as I can. Someone's gotta stand up and show people here the road to a better life."

‎Voice Actors: Chris Edgerly (English), Akimitsu Takase (Japanese)

In the current leading lord of Sadal Suud's absence, Rodolfo steps up to handle international affairs in hopes of obtaining the title of Lord. He meets with Heughes for a demonstration of what promachination has to offer and agrees to work with him in return for a large amount of money. In the meantime, Giacomo serves as his bodyguard. Later, when confronted by Sagi and crew, he admits that while he does intend on working with the Empire, all he wants is their gold. He hopes that by placing himself in between Alfard and Sadal Suud, he can usher in an economic boom for his home nation without sacrificing its independence.

Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean

"Quote goes here"

‎Voice Actors: Jeff Manning (English), Unknown (Japanese)

Rodolfo is the acting Lord of Sadal Suud. He is forced to host Giacomo and his men as they come looking for the End Magnus. When Giacomo kidnaps Xelha, she is kept in the guestroom of Rodolfo's mansion. Rodolfo is uncertain what Giacomo was looking for in the forest and muses with his aide that is could be related to the old story about an "evil monster" being held in by a seal. He decides that it's not worth getting involved with as crossing the Emperor generally means certain death.

He later joins the island's other leaders as they are about to breach Cor Hydrae's shielding, doing his part in harnessing Sadal Suud's magic for the cause.
