Sadal Suud
Sadal Suud is one of the five major island continents in the world of Baten Kaitos. It features a variety of natural resources and beauties from lush forests and rivers, to the orchards of Cebalrai. This rural environment lends itself to raising crops and livestock, and the perfect location for those wanting to live a quieter lifestyle. Even its capital, Pherkad, is notably smaller than the capital cities of other nations.
The people of Sadal Suud are often described as old fashioned and hard-working. Chief products are pows and mountain apples, with plenty of other livestock to be found as well.

Baten Kaitos: Origins
Sagi, Guillo, and Milly arrive in Sadal Suud at the behest of Questor Verus in response to sightings of Baelheit's soldiers there. Their mission is to make contact with Rodolfo, and intervene if he seems likely to go along with promachination. After dispelling some negative propaganda around town and avoiding Giacomo at Rodolfo's Estate, the trio heads to Cebalrai to speak with Rodolfo. Heughes is already in a meeting with Rodolfo, who seems more than pleased with the prospect of going along with the Empire.
They head to Rodolfo's Estate to follow up, but are stopped by Giacomo who happily engages them in battle. Defeating him and his guards, they enter the office. Rodolfo admits that he's only siding with the Empire for their money, and he plans on kicking them out once he's secured what he needs from them. Despite his intentions, Heughes announces that promachination will process in Sadal Suud regardless, and invites Sagi to witness their groundbreaking in Nunki Valley.
Upon arriving, Sagi finds Heughs' team burning down the forest to make way for machina. With diplomacy out the window, the trio engages Heughes in battle but are no match for his Machina Arma. Shanath arrives and orders the delivery of a bestial afterling that they acquired earlier. After killing the afterling and blacking out, Sagi and crew and saved by Palolo II.
Later in the game, the three return to Sadal Suud to take on Heughes one more time and manage to stop his promachination team.
Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean
Kalas wakes up at the start of the game in Cebalrai after being found unconscious in the woods nearby. It is noted that the animals of the forest have been acting more aggressive lately. After exploring the town a bit, he meets Xelha, who says that she's traveled here to see the ancient ruins in the woods nearby. Kalas goes to check out the forest as well and rescues Xelha from a Sabre Dragon, though her traveling companions, Gram and Leon, are not so lucky.
They journey together to the heart of the forest and encounter the Lord of the Spring, one of the guardians of the End Magnus. The End Magnus is released, but before they decide what to do with it, a large ship flies overhead and Giacomo drops down to claim it as well as kidnap Xelha. On a quest for revenge, Kalas follows Giacomo's ship to the city of Pherkad. In order to get inside, he strikes a deal with one of the local troublemaker kids, Palolo III, to gain access to a secret passage in exchange for a rainbow spider's web. Once inside, Kalas saves Xelha from one of the rooms in exchange for her assistance and they leave the island in pursuit of Giacomo.
Later in the game, the entire island shifts in position to lend its magic to break the shield protecting Cor Hydrae. Once the ocean is restored, the island then falls to rest upon the ground once more.
